2009 SCV Magic Season Summary
During the 2009 Season SCV Magic competed in Coast Soccer League with 17 teams.
5 SCV Magic Teams are League Champions and 1 more team placed 2nd and will also be promoted to the next level in 2010.
6 SCV Magic Teams (35% of Club total) will be promoted to the next level for the 2010 fall season.

 After coming from behind 3-1 against a very capable FC Barcelona team with 20 minutes to go on our last game of the season, the SCV Magic BU19 Team came back to win the game 5-3! This was a great achievement as it displayed the character, self control, patience and all round great team work displayed all season from our undefeated campaign for 2009. Well done boys! You have made the Club Proud!

SCV Magic 2nd Annual Picnic.... a blast |

|
To the Magic Families: A terrific time was had by all at the SCV Magic 2nd annual club picnic. While the day was warm, we had plenty of pop-up shade to go around for the more than 200 parents and children who came out to show their “Magic spirit.” The day was filled with great food, fun games and topped off with an opportunity for parents to yell at the coaches all those catchy sideline phrases as the coaches took on the parents in a soccer match.

SCV Magic Youth Recreational Soccer League |

Our Youth Academy Program is organizing the 1st SCV magic Recreational League for Boys & Girls Ages from 5 to 10 for players of all skills and experience levels. The only requirement is a strong desire to play and improve. The emphasis will be on developing players technically, tactically, and psychologically, not on winning. For more details please check out our Youth Academy Page. |
Tryouts
Magic is committed to providing youth players the opportunity to play at an appropriate age and skill level through annual open tryouts. Players will be given the opportunity each season to move to another team within the organization in order to place players in the best situation in which to grow and develop. While this will make the club more competitive, it is in player development that this seems to make the most sense.
